Details

This photowalk we’ll go and see some more StreetArt in Utrecht; this time more in the northeast area of the city center.
Please update your RSVP’s if you can not make it!

See this website for more information about the idea for the photowalk. We will not see all of the artworks shown on this website, but will walk part of the published route: https://www.wij-wandelen.nl/stadswandeling-langs-street-art-in-utrecht/
See Google Maps for the planned route. We will first visit the updated work from Munir de Vries, which has recently changed and we also visited on our first Streetart Photowalk and then continue our route through the city center.
For more info, also see: https://streetartcities.com/cities/utrecht

The walk will be quite long, about 7km, so that’s why we start a little earlier and expected end time is around 16:00. After the walk we could stop for a drink at Mariaplaats (optional, not included and at your own expense), talk photography and share our results.
Come prepared: wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a snack, check the weather forecast …and don’t forget your camera 🙂
Let’s MeetUp and have fun!

Please note:

  • The photowalk starts at the posted time. Try to be there early, but if you are running late… just find us. The live location of the group (via Google Maps) will be shared in our WhatsApp group. A link to join the WhatsApp group can be requested by direct message.
  • This photowalk could be cancelled or postponed in case of really bad weather.
  • The end time is an estimate only; the length of the actual walk could be different from posted.
  • Check before you go if all your equipment is working properly; lens cleaned, batteries charged, memory cards empty.
  • Make sure you have a good personal liability insurance (W.A. verzekering). Some of us walk around with expensive equipment; accidents could happen. The organisation is not responsible for any damage or loss.
  • Pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, curbs and people.
  • Be respectful of residents, their property and privacy.

And finally:

  • Any type of camera is welcome.
  • If taking pictures or making photos gives you joy, you are more than welcome!
