The cost for MeetUp.com has more than doubled in two years, which is way too much for the free photowalks I organize. Calculated back to the cost per photowalk, or even the cost per attendee, using MeetUp.com is no longer sustainable. I hate asking for donations and I believe exercising our photography hobby, while walking around with a group of fun people, should be free of charge!
That is also the reason why this website was started and I will start using heylo.com for announcing and promoting the photowalks.
