Details

Join us on the photo challenge from Sunfield Academy.
It is a week long with daily photo challenges, from 9 until 16 February 2025. Read all about it on their website: https://sunfieldacademy.nl/fotografie-challenge/
The website is in Dutch only!

Do not forget to sign up on their website to participate in the challenge! Be aware that they sell photography classes, so expect some extra spam from Sunfield Academy where they try to sell you their products. Participating in the challenge is free, but expect to spend (max) one hour per day of your time, to create your daily photo.
The kickoff will be online on Sunday February 9 at 20:00. You may need an instagram account to follow https://www.instagram.com/sunfieldacademy

And let’s meetup!
We will meet on the last day of the challenge, share our results so far and attack any challenges that remain te be finished. We have no idea what the challenges are going to be, so there is no route set yet.
We will meet (and probably end) at Mariaplaats in Utrecht and decide on the route together. After the walk we could stop for a drink (optional, not included and at your own expense), talk some more photography and share our results of the day.

Let’s MeetUp and have fun!

Please note:

  • The photowalk starts at the posted time. Try to be there early, but if you are running late… just find us. The live location of the group (via Google Maps) will be shared in our WhatsApp and Signal group. Links to join both groups can be requested by direct message.
  • Please update your RSVP’s if you can not make it!
  • This photowalk could be cancelled or postponed in case of really bad weather.
  • The end time is an estimate only; the length of the actual walk could be different from posted.
  • Check before you go if all your equipment is working properly; lens cleaned, batteries charged, memory cards empty.
  • Come prepared: wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a snack, check the weather forecast, and don’t forget your camera 🙂
  • Make sure you have a good personal liability insurance (W.A. verzekering). Some of us walk around with expensive equipment; accidents could happen. The organisation is not responsible for any damage or loss.
  • Pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, curbs and people.
  • Be respectful of residents, their property and privacy.

And finally:

  • Any type of camera is welcome.
  • If taking pictures or making photos gives you joy, you are more than welcome!
